Thomasville, Mo. –Thomasville, Missouri, had an ice cream social in honor of Missouri’s Bicentennial. The event brought many from around the area to join in the celebration.
The Ice Cream
They had strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. The strawberry was gone shortly after the AltonMo.com team arrived.
Other Desserts
They also had a berry cobbler, cookies, brownies, and candy. If you were thirsty, you could have tea, CocaCola, or just water.
Busy Evening
People of all ages came to the ice cream social. About 25 people showed up to help celebrate the bicentennial.
Shirts
They also sold two types of shirts. One said USA with Thomasville, Missouri, underneath, while the other had a flag with Missouri as the stars and the location of Thomasville on it. The shirts were $10.00 each.
Asking Questions
