Did you just recently buy DiGiorno’s Crispy Pan Crust Pepperoni Pizza and you’re allergic to soy? If you did, watch out. Nestle USA Inc. recalled the DiGiorno pizza due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
Misbranding
A consumer complaint was made that a three-meat pizza was in a box labeled as pepperoni pizza. Nestle then recalled the pizza.
Undeclared Allergens
The pepperoni pizza contained soy which is a known allergen. The label on the packaging did not say it contained soy. For those allergic to soy, eating the pizza could get them sick.
The Recall
Nestle recalled DiGiorno’s Crispy Pan Crust pepperoni pizza on September 26, 2021. They recalled approximately 27,872 pounds of the frozen pizza. [1]
Where Is It
The pizza, before the recall, was sent nationwide to stores to be sold.

If you are allergic to soy and are wondering if you have the specific pizza, here’s a few ways to tell. It is a 26 oz. carton with a lot code of 1181510721. The best buy date is March of 2022. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said the following:
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. [2]
