Eva Mae Anderson died at the age of 82 on October 16, 2021, in McHenry, Illinois. She is remembered for many things she did during her life.
Her Life
She was born on January 5, 1939, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to William S. and Emma Mae Gray. Eva married James Conrad Anderson Sr., on June 5, 1955. The two of them had six children and were married for almost 62 years.
Character Matters
Eva Mae Anderson did not ask anyone to do something that she would not do.
Around her community, Anderson was known as a spiritual person. Each Sunday she held fellowship for breakfast and lunch. She was also very dear to everyone she knew.
She was a wonderful mother to her six children and acted as a mother and grandmother figure to everyone she knew.
Her Survivors
Eva has children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Survivors of Eva are as follows: Amanda (Michael) Barg, Cynthia (Jeffery) Thomas, Michael (Tricia) Anderson, Garrett (Kristine) Anderson), and Mary (Bruce) Ware. She also has a daughter-in-law, Debbie Anderson, and three of her siblings: William (Shirlee) Gray, Elberta (David) Horton, and Eddie (Candy) Gray.
Funeral Services
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until noon on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, located on 3700 Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, Illinois 60050. The funeral service will follow at noon. The burial will be at the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, in Woodstock, Illinois 60098.
