The deer hunting is from Saturday, November 13, 2021, to Tuesday, November 23, 2021. The methods allowed is a long, compound, or recurve bow; an atlatl; centerfire rifle or shotgun with slugs only; a centerfire handgun; an air-powered gun; a muzzleloader or cap-and-ball firearm .40 caliber; or a crossbow.
Late Youth
The late youth portion is from Friday, November 26, 2021, to Sunday, November 28, 2021. The methods allowed are the same for the previous portion.
December Hunting
The anterless deer portion is from Saturday, December 4, 2021, to Sunday, December 12, 2021. This is only in open counties. The allowed methods are the same as the previous portions.
Alternative Methods
The deer alternative methods portions is from Saturday, December 25, 2021, to Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The methods allowed are long, compound, or recurve bow; an atlatl; a centerfire handgun; an air-powered gun; a muzzleloader or cap-and-ball firearm .40 caliber; or a crossbow.
Make sure to wear hunter orange to be safe.
