Jefferson City hosted Governor Parson’s 2022 State of the State Address on January 19, 2022. In his remarks, he reflected on what had been accomplished in 2021 and the goals he has for 2022. Parson addressed seven key topics: workforce and education, infrastructure, agriculture, community development, health care, public safety, and legislative priorities. Outright, he proclaimed that,
Missouri is strong and will even be stronger tomorrow [1].
Governor Parson’s recommendations would increase funding in a variety of areas. Additional funding, however, is being provided from federal dollars and historical budget surpluses.Â
