Has someone just frowned at you and it made you feel like you’re in a dump? Turn 180 degrees and have you ever had someone smile at you and it just changed your entire day? Whether you believe it or not, a smile can change a person’s day. While yesterday, May 31, 2022, was National Smile Day, you can still celebrate it today and all year by sharing a smile with everyone! Here’s some activities and words that relates to smiles.
A Cheerful Heart
A cheerful heart or a smile does a person great things. The Bible says in Proverbs 17:22, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…”
” Say cheese!”
A way to cheer someone up and to make memories is to hold a photoshoot. Gather your family and friends together and get some good pictures.
Make A Card
Some people in the younger generation don’t use “snail mail.” But there’s something about getting a letter or card in the mail without expecting it. Create a card and send it to someone. You may not know it, but that person may be having a bad day but will cheer up when they get your card.
Create A Challenge
Make a challenge for yourself, and your friends and family too. Make an effort to smile as much as possible during the day.
Smile!
Just remember that every action you take and every word you say impacts someone else. Whether it be someone older or younger. So when you know it helps someone, take a moment and smile!
