The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center is on the ball. Once again, they have March’s meal and activities out for 2023. Lots of delicious meals are planned along with fun activities.
Meals
On March 2nd, Monterey chicken, pasta salad, cold peaches, cornbread, and cook’s choice will be served. On March 10th, a BLT sandwich, chips, Ambrosia salad, and cook’s choice will be dished out. Cinnamon apple pork chops, Au Gratin potatoes, biscuit, Antigua blend, and Jell-O will be served on March 14th. On March 23rd, tater tot casserole, California blend, hot roll, and cowboy cookie will be served. To close out the month on the 31st, meatloaf, baked potato, pickled beets, hot roll, and whoopie pie will be served.
Activities
On March 3rd, there will be frappes with Whitney at 10:30 am. On March 6th, the toenail clinic by appointment will start at 9:00 am. On the 8th and 22nd, Amanda will present “getting healthy through gardening” at 10:00 am. On March 9th at 10:00 am, the pen pal club will meet to write to seniors across the state. On March 16th, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day event with Catalina at 10:00 am. The next day on the 17th, deco poghe necklace craft meeting with Cindi will happen.
