The Heart of the Ozarks Fair is always a big hit in Oregon County and around the area. It is once again coming back to West Plains, Missouri, from Tuesday, June 6, 2023, through Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the West Plains Fairgrounds.
Prices
On Tuesday, admission is free for everyone, and the rides cost $1 each. On Wednesday, the cost to go is $5, while those six and under are free. The rides are individually priced, but you can get a carnival armband for $25. Thursday, the admission for adults is $10, for kids 6-12 is $5, and for under six is free. [1] Carnival armbands for Wednesday through Saturday cost $25. For Friday and Saturday, the prices are the same as on Thursday.
Times
Every night, the carnival opens at 6:00 pm, but other events are happening during the week. On Tuesday, that is the Gospel Music Night. On Thursday, an ATV Rodeo is happening. On Friday, a truck pull (WW Promotions) will happen. A demolition derby (Southern Crunch Promotions) is happening on Saturday. [2]
Judging
On every day of the week except Wednesday, judging and shows for the different entries will happen, including flowers, cattle, goats, swine, rabbits, poultry, and home economics.
