The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center once again has their meals and activities out, this time for June of 2023. As usual, they have delicious-tasting meals and fun activities planned.
Activities
On June 14th, there will be a Get Healthy with Amanda presentation by Missouri University. On June 16th, there will be a Dads party between 11:00 am and noon; you do have to RSVP. A lost loved one’s support group will be on June 23rd at 1:00 pm. On the 28th, individuals can make pop-up cards between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
Meals
On June 12th, taco salad will be served with lettuce, tomatoes, and olives, as well as refried beans and coconut cream pie. On the 16th, a steak sandwich on a bun, French fries, broccoli salad, and lemon crumb bars will be served. On June 20th, chicken hobo packs with a hot roll, spiced peaches, and Mississippi mud cake will be dished out. Fried fish, brown beans, coleslaw, cornbread, and banana pudding will be served on June 22nd. To close out the month on June 28th, a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato, along with pasta salad, quick pickled cucumbers, and magic bars will be served.
