Schools in the area are starting this week or next week. A fall sport that goes along with school is football. The Thayer, Missouri, Bobcats are gearing up for their home opener on August 25, 2023, in Thayer.
The Team
Last year was Briar Hancock’s first year as head coach; the team finished the year 4-6. [1] He and the team has been working all summer on improving their skills. There are multiple seniors on the lineup as well as a fresh group of freshmen.
