Are you looking for a relaxing outdoor weekend this Labor Day holiday? Look no further than Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. They are hosting an antique and classic car show. This is well-organized as it is their 39th year of hosting this event.
What Is Happening?
Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce is hosting an antique and classic car show. This is a free event. However, prizes will be awarded to winners. Awards go to the furthest distance traveled, best of show, and people’s choice. Dash plaques for the first fifty entrants for classes. The classes for the year plaques are 1894-1930, 1931-1954, 1955-1965, 1966-1975, 1975-2000. Other classes include RAT, Modern, Corvette, Mustang Madness, and All Original and Truck classes. One can win one of fifty trophies to be awarded that day.
When Is This?
If you are around town early, Mammoth Spring has a pancake breakfast between 6-11 a.m. This car show is on Saturday, August 2, 2023. The car show is between 9-1. Judging begins at 9:00 a.m.
Where Is This?
To begin your day, especially if you are entering a vehicle, the breakfast is at the Mammoth Spring Fire Department. The Antique and Classic Car Show will be hosted at Mammoth Spring State Park. Take Highway 19 South from Alton. Then, take U.S. 63 South into Mammoth Spring. The park is to the east.
Anything Else?
