After the Labor Day festivities, are you in a slump waiting for the Walnut Festival? Are you looking for excitement this weekend? Look no further than Birch Tree for a different kind of fun! The Bank of Birch Tree and the Alton Bank are assembling a Logger Day! This is the 15th Annual Loggers Day in the area. As many area residents are loggers, and other households take advantage of the logging industry by selling their lumber, these banks are honoring those who serve this way.
What Is Happening?
Both the Bank of Birch Tree and the Alton Bank at Birch Tree are hosting a Logger Day, honoring local loggers as well as the logging industry. Besides concessions and music, they have logging competitions, booths, displays, and even a parade of logging trucks and machinery. They will have awards and chainsaw giveaways. For the lineup of activities, you can go to the Facebook page here. Additionally, they are planning fireworks at dark.
When Is This?
The fun begins Saturday, September 9, 2023 at noon. All afternoon until 6:00 p.m., booths will be up, and activities will continue.
Who Can Attend?
This fun is open to the public. There is no charge to attend. Concessions will cost. This is a family-friendly event.
Where Is This Happening?
All of this happens in Birch Tree. The chainsaw competitions happen at the post office. A silent auction happens in the park. The parade continues through town.
