It you are still wondering where to experience the eclipse, the Missouri State Parks have an idea. Representatives from Missouri State Parks invite the public to celebrate the 2024 total solar eclipse from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Eleven Point State Park. In conjunction with the celebration, a conceptual development planning open house will be held for the park.
Eclipse
The park will be open one day only for eclipse viewers. It will open at 11 am and close at 4 pm. Otherwise, Eleven Point State Park is currently closed to the public. Patrons need to keep in mind that the park is undeveloped at this point.
Park Planning
As the long-range plan for the park is developed, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions and provide input regarding future park use and development.
A 30-day comment period will begin April 7, with a survey available online at mostateparks.com/CDP.
