The Democratic National Committee released its 2024 Party Platform on Sunday. While the Republicans released their platform during their convention, the Democrats have now announced their stances.

The Democrat document is nearly 100 pages, much longer than the 16-page Republican Party Platform.

Presidential Nominee?

Despite being released nearly a month after President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, the Democrat platform mentions him almost 300 times as the presidential nominee running for a second term.

Money

It mentions eliminating federal taxes for those earning less than $400,000 and eliminating the annual enrollment in Medicaid.

Family

The platform also continues to push liberal agendas like protecting abortion at any stage and sexually perverted lifestyles at the federal level. But this could be assumed by the presence of a mobile abortion clinic outside of the convention.

Border

It does vow to secure the border. However, the Democrats have had the power to do so and have done nothing yet.

Additional States

It would make Washington, D.C., a state with voter representation and territories like Puerto Rico.

You can read the Democratic platform here. Never before has there been such a distinct difference between the two main parties who want to direct this country. This will be a monumental election.
