Alton, Mo. –The Black Gold Walnut Festival is going on right now until 5:00 pm today. Vendors are lined up around the square selling various items and the bands are playing entertaining music.
Vendors
Over thirty vendors are lined up around the square selling many things. Ranging from pictures to lemonade to funnel cakes to jewelry to soap to clothes to arrowheads- everything you could want is here.
Crowds
People of all ages were walking around the square this morning, and as the afternoon wears on, the corwds are getting smaller but people are still walking around.
Music
Jerry Bone & Friends are finishing up playing music and the local band the Jumpin Jacks will perform from 4:00-5:00 pm.
