In January, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the next President of the United States. In 2026, the United States will be celebrating 250 years as a nation. In honor of that, Trump has started to announce plans for the nation’s birthday.
Year-Long Celebration
Donald Trump plans to have a year-long celebration in honor of our nation’s birthday. He plans to start it on Memorial Day 2025 and it will go until July 4, 2026.
Events
Instead of the celebration being one day, Trump intends to have events and festivities year-round. One of the events he wants to bring about is a “Great American State Fair” going to be held in Iowa. The fair will represent all 50 states as well as high school sporting contests.
Task Force
To get all these events ready for the 250th Birthday of the United States, Trump said that shortly after inaugurated, he will propose a task force to get everything done.
Next 250 Years
As Trump was closing out his speech, he said the following:
