Alton, Mo. – MODOT (Missouri Department of Transportation) plans to close US Route 160 in Oregon County. Missouri crews will perform bridge inspections. It will close in both directions, and there are not many alternate routes.
Where Is This?
This section of roadway that will be closed is located from Route Y to County Road 152 near Alton, Missouri. This is from Riverton, across the Eleven Point River, to the first dirt road on the north. With the river there, not too many alternative routes are available.
When Is This?
Weather permitting, work will occur on Tuesday, February 4, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additional Information
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when traveling near it. It will close in both directions.
