Kansas City Chiefs Hold 5th Annual Trick-or-Treat Bash at Arrowhead

Kansas City, Mo. – The Chiefs Kingdom Kids held their annual trick-or-treat bash at Arrowhead Stadium on October 22. This trick-or-treat has been going on for five years, with kids enjoying every moment of it. There were more than 1,500 kids on Tuesday, at the event- who doesn’t want free candy?

Who Came

Even though everyone wants to go trick-or-treating at Arrowhead, only Chiefs Kingdom Kids can come. It’s easy to become a Chiefs Kingdom Kid and requires no cost to sign up- simply go to Chiefs Kingdom Kids and sign up. For kids 6-12 years old, you can participate in this for free. You get a branded youth football, an annual birthday message, a chance to win exclusive prizes, and a lot more.

After you sign up, you will get invites through emails to activities like the trick-or-treat bash at Arrowhead. Only a limited amount can come to the Arrowhead trick-or-treat bash though, so when you get an RSVP, don’t forget to reply!

So Many Different Costumes

Wow! So many varieties of costumes at this event. There were costumes like skeletons, Indians, head coach Andy Reid’s, and so many more! There were also many little Patrick Mahomes’. Some kids dressed as Mahomes wore knee braces, ankle braces, and wigs. People asked the little Mahomes’ questions like “How’s your knee?”. Whether they got answers or not, there were definite Patrick Mahomes fans.

But there were two outfits, in particular, that stood out to everyone and one outfit in particular that wide receiver Mecole Hardman was blown away by.

The first outfit was a life-size Mahomes Magic Crunch cereal box. Matt Starr worked on the box for three weeks before it was finished. It looked like a replica of the original Mahomes Magic Crunch. The second costume, the one that caught Hardman’s attention, was a small Arrowhead Stadium complete with a tv screen. John Pittman, 11, didn’t walk in wearing his costume. Instead, he wheeled into the real Arrowhead Stadium with his replica of the stadium surrounding him in his wheelchair. Upon seeing him, wide receiver Mecole Hardman shouted excitedly “and he’s got the TV! It’s over. Halloween is canceled. He took the crown. It’s over!” ^[1]
