Alton, Mo. – The National Football League has done the last thing before the 2020 draft to let the teams know what pick they have. The NFL has made know what picks the thirty-two NFL teams will have in the six rounds and have also done the compensatory picks. The 2020 NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 23-25, 2020.
What the Compensatory Pick Is
The compensatory pick is for teams that gain and lose equal numbers of players but lose higher-valued players can be awarded a single seventh-round pick. The NFL gave out thirty-two compensatory picks. Even though there were thirty-two picks, only fifteen teams received one or more picks. The Kansas City Chiefs and a few other teams got no compensatory picks this year.
Compensatory Picks
The New York Giants got three, the Houston Texans got three, the Minnesota Vikings got three, the Miami Dolphins got two, the Denver Broncos got three, the New England Patriots got four, the Seattle Seahawks got three, and the Dallas Cowboys got one. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got one, the Baltimore Ravens got two, the Philidelphia Eagles got three, the Pittsburgh Steelers got one, the Chicago Bears got one, the Washington Redskins got one, and the Los Angeles Rams got one compensatory pick.
