Alton, Mo. – The Senior Center in Alton is seeking donations to fill their “Blessing Boxes”. These boxes will get delivered the week of Thanksgiving to everyone on their meal route. The center is asking for donations from the public. This is a way residents can locally help those in need.

The Alton Senior Center is partnering with SeniorAge Area Agency to have Blessing Boxes for the local seniors. Volunteers will pack these special boxes and deliver them the week of Thanksgiving. These senior center blessing boxes go to all of the individuals and families on the meal route. This meets the needs of seniors in our community.
What?
The center is collecting a variety of goods right now. In particular, items that the center requests for the seniors is canned non-perishable food items, toiletries, puzzles and books, hats, scarves, and gloves.
