With the new year of 2022, are new laws becoming effective in Missouri.

United States Representative Jason Smith has been busy voting on bills. The bills he voted on this past week is H.R. 5314, H.R. 5609, and S. 610.

H.R. 550 passed through the House on November 30, 2021 with bipartisan votes. This bill deals with our personal immunization records being shared.

The Missouri Congress is still at work. Currently they are reworking our education for minors laws.

One big change in the bill was dropping the provision of forcing women to register for the draft.

Without this passage, unnecessary government agencies would have shut down. There was a holdup.

The 2021 Missouri Governor’s Mansion Christmas trees arrived on Monday, November 29, 2021.

What could Missourians do with extra money? Missouri Senator Bill Eigel has submitted a bill to abolish all personal property taxes.

At the end of October, Governor Parson announced the issuance of an executive order protecting the rights of Missourians.

As of the end of October, 2021, 19 states were suing the Biden administration over its COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Representative Smith is still busy in Washington, D.C. representing the people in Missouri’s 8th district.

On Monday, November 1, 2021 our Missouri U.S. Senator Hawley introduced a bill to remove the provision.
