TeenPact is for homeschooled 8-19-year-olds where they can learn the political process, grow closer to God, defend their Christian faith, and much more! TeenPact Missouri is going to be held from Monday, March 1, 2021, to Friday, March 5, 2021, in Jefferson City, Missouri.<\/p>\n
You can stay at the Capitol Plaza Hotel which is within walking distance from the Truman Building and the Capitol.<\/p>\n
TeenPact’s rate per day for a standard room (king or 2 double beds) is $96.00+$10.00 facility\u00a0fee+ lodging tax + $6.72 + state tax $7.42 = $120.14. Suites- rate $126.00 + $10.00 facility\u00a0fee\u00a0+ lodging tax $8.82 + state tax $9.73 = $154.55.<\/p>\n
Masks must be worn in\u00a0all public places.\u00a0 When we are in any meeting rooms within the hotel we have the choice to wear masks.\u00a0 When going through the breakfast line, or any meal line, we will be asked to wear masks as a courtesy to the hotel staff.<\/p>\n
The breakfast will be served cafeteria-style for the hot items that require a utensil to serve.\u00a0 The staff will ask that we keep our masks on when going through the buffet line.\u00a0 This meal is included with the cost of the room and each room should have a maximum of 4 tickets available per day.<\/p>\n
Parking details are not yet out, but if you stay at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, they have free parking in the basement.<\/p>\n
There will be a four-day class for teenagers from March 1-4. On Friday, March 5, there will be a Political Communications Workshop for teenagers and there will also be a one-day class for kids ages 8-12.<\/p>\n
At night, from March 1-3, there will be evening sessions which students can go to. The evening sessions will be held at the Union Hill Baptist Church. This is completely optional but the students are encouraged to come. The church has a recommended mask policy but it is not enforced. The church has a gym for the students to run in before the evening worship time.<\/p>\n
Here is what TeenPact Missouri requires in response to COVID-19.<\/p>\n
TeenPact Missouri does not require masks, but the Truman Building highly recommends it. You are encouraged by TeenPact to bring a mask in case something happens.<\/p>\n
TeenPact asks that each student bring their own hand sanitizer to stay clean.<\/p>\n
The TeenPact National Office will be sending a Health Screening Form to all the registered students the week prior to the class. In order to be permitted into the class, each attendee must complete and sign the form within 24 hours of arrival, and present the completed form at check-in.<\/p>\n
TeenPact does reserve the right to turn away a Student if any of the responses on the form could indicate a potential diagnosis of COVID-19.<\/p>\n
