The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is now accepting entries for their annual photography contest. Entering is free. You just need to submit your photo before October 1, 2021 [1]<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who?<\/h3>\n

Almost anyone can enter the contest. This is open to any amateur photographer. This contest has no age restrictions.<\/p>\n

What Catagories?<\/h3>\n

This contest has three categories. The first category is natural resources, which include Missouri’s air, landscapes, and waterways. The second category is unique places. In this category, one submits a photo taken within one of Missouri’s state parks or historical sites. A complete list of Missouri parks is found here<\/a>. The third grouping includes people spending time and enjoying Missouri’s outdoors.<\/p>\n

When Is This?<\/h3>\n

The contest continues from April 1, 2021, through October 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

What Are Some Rules?<\/h3>\n

One may enter up to two photos per category, for a total of six entries. However, you may submit a photograph for only one category. All photographs must be taken in Missouri. A complete list of rules including sizes of photos being submitted is found here<\/a>. There is no entry fee.<\/p>\n

Winning?<\/h3>\n

The DNR will feature the winning photos on their website and social media.<\/p>\n

So if you like the great outdoors and like to play with a camera, this opportunity is just for you. You have spring, summer, and fall to perfect your entry.<\/p>\n
