Alton, Mo. \u2013 <\/strong>The 36th Annual Walnut Festival took place on Saturday, October 2, 2021. It started out on Friday night with the Run the Town for Gold 5K and one mile run\/walk.<\/p>\n The race took place at the Alton High School. About twenty kids ran the one mile race. For the 5K, two teenagers and a pair of parents with their kids ran\/walked it.<\/p>\nRun The Town For Gold<\/h3>\n
