National Lasagna Day is Friday, July 29, 2022. You can have lasagna year-round, but some people have it as a Christmas-special. While homemade lasagna is delicious, if you have store-bought lasagna, here are five sides to go with it.<\/p>\n
While some may not like this vegetable, brussel sprouts are a common site with lasagna. They add some color to the plate. Just add some Parmesan cheese and you’re good to go.<\/p>\n
Another green item is a salad. While not all salad is green, a common one with lasagna is the lettuce salad. But you can have a pasta salad, pea salad, or any type of salad.<\/p>\n
A delicious addition to your plate of lasagna is garlic bread. While you can have cheese bread, the garlic bread adds a different taste to the meal.<\/p>\n
Punch is not exactly a side, but in a way it is. Mix up some cranberry juice and some ginger ale for a refreshing “side” to your lasagna.<\/p>\n
Another bread item if you don’t go for the garlic toast is breadsticks. Breadsticks are common among Italian items as an appetizer or side. You can have cheese, garlic, seasoned, or plain breadsticks to go with the meal.<\/p>\n
