The Alton, Missouri, Christmas parade was a little over a week ago. While there, the AltonMo.com field team interviewed locals concerning holiday-themed ideas. The four questions were as follows: “Why do we celebrate Christmas?” “What is your favorite holiday tradition?” “Will you stay up till midnight on New Year’s Eve?” and “Do you prefer daytime or night parades?”

The Reason

The first question was, “why do we celebrate Christmas?” Most of those polled knew the answer, which is the birth of Jesus Christ.
