This past week had different resolutions coming through the House of Representatives. While Republicans have the majority, they still need to act in the way that best suits their constituents. Representative Smith, in Washington DC, cast his ballots for the people of Missouri. Here is where he stands.

This resolution prohibits schools that receive federal funding from allowing biological males to participate in athletic programs or activities designated for biological women. This protects females from undressing in a locker room with a biological male present. Representative Smith voted yes. Resolution passed.

This resolution Requires the State Department to report to Congress on untrusted telecommunications equipment or services in countries with collective defense agreements with the United States. Representative Smith voted yes. Resolution passed.

This resolution requires a State Department-led strategy to counter China’s use of spy balloons worldwide. It requires the Department of Commerce to evaluate U.S. technologies that may help China’s spy balloon program for the purposes of export control.
