The Walnut Festival is in just three days. Vendors have been busy preparing for a great day at the 38th Annual Black Gold Walnut Festival on October 7, 2023, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. The Oregon County 4-H is having a booth at the festival; one of their games being chicken poop bingo.

The cost is $5 per square for the bingo. If you win, you get 50% payback.

The 4-H booth will have a blocked area with squares marked off, just like normal bingo. A live chicken will be in the enclosed area. Whichever square the chicken poops in, the person that “bought” the square wins.

The members in the shooting sports part of 4-H will be selling slushies as a fundraiser throughout the day.

The 4-H group will also bring the chicken poop bingo to Thayer’s Fall Festival on October 14th and Koshkonong’s Heritage Day Festival on October 21st.
