While we enjoy fall festivals in the area, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) says a festival of colors can now be seen. The MDC encourages residents to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty. While trees are predominately green and just beginning to turn in the Alton area, other parts of the state are well into the fall colors.<\/p>\n
