Alton, Mo. \u2013 <\/strong>Billy G. Hornback passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was at Baxter Regional in Mountain Home, Arkansas.\u00a0 He was 83 and led a blessed life. He met his maker following an unplanned heart complication.<\/p>\n Bill was born July 3, 1940, in Anson County, North Carolina. He met his sweetheart in Peachland, NC, and later married her. Together they had three children. Even as a youngster, Bill was known for trading. This carried over to his adult life. You can read more about his early life here<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the age of 66, he moved to Missouri. Here, he continued trading. He owned Hornback Cattle, Summersville Stockyard, Oregon County Public Waste, and Hornback Land Co. Before he went to the hospital, he bought 14 horses. He never saw them before he passed away.
