Those thoughts begin at the local level. While each party decides when and how to conduct its caucuses, the Democrats have planned two meetings: a primary and a mass meeting.<\/p>\n<h3>What Is Happening?<\/h3>\n<h4>Primary<\/h4>\n<p>The Democrats will have their primary on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Citizens can vote between 8:00 am and noon. For this, any registered voter who is not a Republican can attend and vote. This means independents or Green voters can attend and vote.<\/p>\n<h4>Mass Meeting<\/h4>\n<p>Because fewer citizens go to a caucus than an election, the Democrats are hosting a mass meeting. Attendees will decide on delegates to attend the district and state conventions at this meeting.
