With the overturn of Roe v. Wade in 2022, several states stepped up to protect women and their unborn babies from death. While Missouri has a total ban on killing an unborn baby unless to save the life of the mother, other states have just as stringent laws.<\/p>\n
For example, Indiana outlaws abortions at all stages of pregnancy with only some exceptions. This became effective last August. Recently, the Indiana Department of Health\u00a0released a report<\/a> on abortions in the state for the first quarter of 2024. Incredibly, there were only 45 abortions during the first quarter, down from nearly 2,000 during the first quarter of 2023.
