Grant Heithold Survey Answers<\/h2>\n

Are you aware that many schoolchildren cannot read or write cursive? What would you do to solve this problem?<\/h4>\n

Get rid of the Department of Education and its WOKE agenda. We need more local control of our schools without government influence.<\/p>\n

Do you believe that self-defense is a right? Why? Should there be any limitations?<\/h4>\n

Yes, common sense. There should be no limitations.<\/p>\n

In light of the Bill of Rights, how do you propose supporting our enumerated freedoms and rights?<\/h4>\n

Keep the federal government out of our own lives. The federal government was formed from the states to defend us from foreign adversaries, not to be Big Brother.<\/p>\n

As illegal persons come to Missouri, do you see their presence as a help or a hindrance? What will they do to our economy?<\/h4>\n

Hindrance. They are competing against us in the job market, lowering wages. Big businesses like Tyson receive benefits, and the small guy gets penalized.<\/p>\n

What is the biggest problem facing Missourians\/Americans?<\/h4>\n

Hard to pick just one. Our spending is out of control and causing inflation. We are heading for a total collapse of our economy. Earlier this year, the US Senate passed a resolution recognizing the national debt is a threat to national security.<\/p>\n

The traditional family consists of a father, mother, and children. Is this type of family good for our culture?<\/h4>\n

Yes. This is a Biblical truth. Genesis 2:24.<\/p>\n

What are the state’s most pressing needs for infrastructure or capital projects?<\/h4>\n

Highways, roads, bridges.<\/p>\n

How would you protect Oregon County from big government interference? Tax manipulation?<\/h4>\n

Apply the Constitution of the United States to the House floor to limit the federal government’s influences.<\/p>\n

What laws would you like to see passed or repealed in your term?<\/h4>\n

Laws that bring back integrity to our elections, transparency, This involves getting rid of the machines. Same-day voting, national voting holiday, and clean voter rolls.<\/p>\n

What is your greatest accomplishment that you want voters to know about?<\/h4>\n

Decreasing our national debt. Balance budget, exposing corruption that leads to more spending, closing border.<\/p>\n

Can you give a short bio on why you chose to run for office?<\/h4>\n

Frustrated with our representatives NOT representing their constituents. My opponent, Jason Smith, keeps signing spending bills being financed with money that has no backing. This money is used to continue funding Biden’s economic policies while driving up inflation. This is making it hard for the people he is supposed to be representing to live from day to day.<\/p>\n
