An iconic annual gift catalog known for its extravagant gifts has removed the word “Christmas” from its name. This comes after a nearly 100-year run.

Neiman Marcus’ “Christmas Book,” has been in print since 1926, starting as a 16-page booklet. In the years since it has become popular among the wealthy and bucket list dreamers alike for its “Fantasy Gift.” But this year, they are leaving out ‘Christmas due to restructuring.’

However, Neiman Marcus has been bought by Saks Fifth Avenue’s parent company, HBC. The change in the name and theme of this year’s book raises questions in the headquarters. The new CEO, Geoffroy van Raemdonck, is said to be making many changes within the company, including layoffs and internal restructuring.

The shift from “Christmas Book” to “Holiday Book” for this year’s catalog has raised eyebrows inside the 117-year-old company. The “Fantasy Gift” has been a trendy focal point of the catalog every year since its inception in 1959. These particular gifts are especially eye-popping for their high prices and rarity.
