The bill also expresses Congress&#8217;s sense that states should maintain primacy (authority) for the regulation of hydraulic fracturing for oil and natural gas production on state and private lands.<\/p>\n<p>This bill was passed and Representative Smith voted for it.<\/p>\n<h2>H.R. 27<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/27?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%22hr+27%22%7D&amp;s=2&amp;r=1\">HALT Fentanyl Act<\/a>, or H.R. 27, states that fentanyl is a drug that has a high potential for abuse- in the schedule I class.
