At Monday’s press release, Governor Parson announced the first phase of his “Show Me Strong Recovery” plan. This plan outlines the reopening of economic and social activities. This plan gets enacted on Monday, May 4, 2020.\u00a0 This plan will extend through Sunday, May 31, 2020.<\/p>\n
Governor Parson said, “With favorable data and approval from state officials, we are ready to take another step forward in the recovery of Missouri.” [1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n The framework of Missouri’s recovery is intended to protect those most at risk of the virus while returning Missouri to normal. It is a framework that allows the state to work through a gradual opening; this leads to a broader economic recovery.<\/p>\n The four essential pillars are:<\/p>\n During phase one of the plan, citizens may begin returning to economic and social activities provided they maintain the social distancing guidelines. Some businesses may need to take additional precautions to protect their employees and the public.<\/p>\n Several more instructions are laid out for individuals as well as businesses. Among them is returning to work in phases or shifts. flexible sick leaves, and maximizing social distancing<\/p>\n \u201cAs we begin to reopen, we will be prepared, but the virus is still here. Protect yourself and the people you love. Take care of each other,\u201d\u00a0Governor Parson<\/strong>\u00a0said. \u201cTogether, we will defeat COVID-19.
