Crew-1 is set to launch tomorrow, Nov 15, 2020 if nothing goes wrong.

This mission will be SpaceX’s first operational crew flight for NASA under the space agency’s Commercial Crew Program, [1] but this is not the first time SpaceX has launched an operational crew flight. A previous flight that SpaceX launched was Demo-2 test flight, which carried two astronauts. Unlike that mission Crew-1 will carry four astronauts. It will be piloted by Victor Glover, and commanded by Mike Hopkins. They will be accompanied by NASA astronaut Shannon Walker and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Soichi Noguchi. [2]

The astronauts will be carried to the ISS in a Dragon capsule that is named “Resilience”. When the astronauts get to the ISS they will double the population that is already there, since currently there are three astronauts in the ISS. The mission will last approximately six months.

The live stream about the launch will start around 3 p.m. tomorrow. Crew-1 will be launched at 7:27 p.m. EDT (0027 Nov. 16 GMT) at Pad 39A of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. [3]
