Alton, Mo. – The Alton Chamber of Commerce has met on Thursday nights. However, with a new year comes new times! To catch more businessmen and women before they go home from work, the chamber changed its meeting times to lunchtime, making it readily accessible to all those in town.

What Is This?

The Alton Chamber of Commerce has changed meeting times to noon to accommodate more people. The chamber also organizes community events like the Walnut Festivals.

Who Can Attend?

All chamber members, businesses, and churches interested in the direction our city and community are taking are encouraged to attend. You need not be a member to attend, but you do need to be a member to vote.

When Is The Meeting?

The meetings are now at noon and should last about thirty minutes to accommodate those needing to return to work at a fashionable time. The first meeting at this time will be Thursday, January 16, 2025. Please bring your lunch for a meeting over the lunch hour.

Where Is The Meeting?

They meet in the basement of the Alton United Methodist Church.

Details

They will discuss the possibility of having the meeting catered each month and consider other possible meeting locations. A short program about Becca’s Closet of the Ozarks will also be given.
