Alton, Mo. – The Alton Area Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Corn-fed Rascals to elect new officers and discuss the Walnut Festival.
New Officers
The Chamber elected new officers at the meeting. They elected a president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary.

Christmas Planning
One of the new business topics discussed was Christmas On The Square. After the Walnut Festival is over, the chamber will move right into planning the Christmas festivities.
Walnut Festival
There is only eight open vendor spaces for the Walnut Festival. If you want a booth, you can contact Diana Clary at 417-270-1536 or Dinah Slaughter at 417-778-6475. If you want two parking spaces with no electric, it costs $35. If you want two parking spaces with electric, it costs $45. If you want one parking space with no electric, the cost is $20. Vendor application and booth fee must be received by September 22, 2021.
