Fire departments are such a vital part of our community. We cannot imagine living without one. The Caulfield Fire Department is having trouble making ends meet. While they do have fundraisers, the bills are sometimes more than the income. They are turning to the public—and Arby’s—for help. Arby’s is helping. Will you?
What Is Happening?
Arby’s in West Plains will hold a fundraiser for the Caulfield Membership Fire Department. The event will last all day, and 20% of all profits will go to the fire department. However, this will only happen when you mention the fire department or show them the flyer found on their Facebook page.
When Is This?
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The fundraiser continues all day.
Where Is This?
This happens at Arby’s in West Plains, located at 1342 Southern Hills Shopping Center.
Who?
As this is a public restaurant, anyone can participate.
Why?
The Caulfield Membership Fire Department said it faces financial challenges yearly and struggles to cover essential costs. It receives only $5,000 in membership dues, while its insurance costs $6,000 alone. Therefore, it frequently has to pay the fire department’s bills personally.
The Facebook post states, ” Your support will help us continue to serve and protect our community. So mark your calendars, head to Arby’s on September 10th, and mention the Caulfield Membership Fire Department. Together, we can keep our community safe and strong. Thank you for standing with us!”
