Alton, Mo. – Do you know a youth interested in a local summer job? Does he like sunshine and outdoor work? Does he like people? This may interest him! The Alton City Hall is taking applications to be a lifeguard in Alton. This is a great opportunity to earn some extra money over the summer.

Who Can Apply?

The city is taking applications from anyone over sixteen, although they will consider fifteen-year-olds. All applicants must provide their own transportation to and from the pool. This is a seasonal job, not year-round. No prior experience is required. They do train.

The deadline to have the paperwork returned is March 31, 2025.

Additional Information

This is a great opportunity for a seasonal job for college students or high school students wanting extra money. Some benefits are that it is seasonal, only lasting through the summer, and it is local. The applicant will be instructed with all details including lifeguard training and CPR. Hours vary but may include evenings and weekends.

The applicant will need references other than family.

Alton City Hall is located on the court square. The city pool is located at Tucker Creek Park, which is behind First Baptist Church.
