Alton, Mo. – The new livestock auction house located on AA highway in Alton, Missouri is now open for business. Although they wanted to open last fall, the weather did hinder construction. Now gates and doors are up and the first auction was Saturday, February 8, 2020.

This auction house has been a dream for some time. Perfecting what could work for the small farmer, Duane incorporated ideas from other auction houses, while adapting other ideas to what he would like to use himself. As in our previous article, this structure did not go up quickly. One reason why it took so long was because much thought and planning went into building it.
