Alton, Mo. – The Alton Bank has been around for many years on the Alton square. Now the bank is branching out now to a bigger and better building on the south end of Alton, Missouri, on Highway 19.
The Decision
The Alton Bank made the decision to relocate around June of last year. [1]
Roadblocks
The construction workers had several roadblocks while building the new bank- heavy rain, COVID-19, etc.
Grand Opening
The bank was closed on Saturday, June 5, 2021, because they were moving the last minute equipment to the new bank. The grand opening was held on Monday, June 7, 2021, nearly a year after construction started.
The Bank’s Location
The Alton Bank is relocated on Highway 19 near the medical clinic. The bank’s new address is 28 Medical Drive, Alton, Mo 65606. [2]
