Trade was very active on slaughter animals to meet the demand for ground beef. The top Slaughter Bull brought 140.00/cwt. and the top Slaughter Cow brought 120.00/cwt. Choice Boxed Beef prices set a new high for 2023 at 325.19/cwt. which was 19.35 higher than a week ago.
