If you plan a shopping trip to West Plains Walmart, you may want to reconsider. Walmart has a sinkhole. If you thought parking was bad before, wait until all vehicles are pushed to the side to avoid falling in.
A Hole?
The West Plains Walmart has closed off a section of its parking lot for this gaping hole. They will now have to undertake an unplanned construction project.
The sinkhole has formed close to the building, which has potentially made the area around it dangerous for parking. As it stands, roughly half the parking lot has now been closed. As Saturdays are often busy with a full parking lot, you may want to choose the Thayer or even Ash Flat Walmart for your business.
Where Is It?
The sinkhole is on the north side of the store, on the side of Taco Bell and Arby’s. Approximately half of the parking is closed.
The official announcement from Walmart West Plains says that they understand this is a major inconvenience to shoppers and will expedite the process where possible. However, no estimated time for a repair window has been announced.
