Alton, Mo. –The Alton city council met on Monday, January 12, 2025 for its monthly meeting. Several topics were talked about.
Community Input
Grant Nelson brought up some things about the Underground store on the square. Another citizen during community input suggested that the city council deal with each other through written correspondence so if any concerns arise, the council members will be able to have written proof of what they said.
Other Topics
The monthly topics about streets, sewers, parks, police, among other things were also discussed. It was brought up that new pumps will need to be bought due to all the rain we have gotten. Relating to parks, they have gotten a new swing but haven’t put it up because of the rain.
