Food

Service
At 6:30 a.m. the service opened. Pastor Kelly led the service with congregational singing. Mrs. Kelly, his wife, accompanied him on the piano. His daughter played the violin while he played the guitar. Mr. Kelly’s father also came and sang a solo. When the music finished, he spoke on the Resurrection. He is the pastor of the Freewill Baptist Church in Symrna, MO.
Next
After the service in the fellowship hall of the church, the aroma of food wafted through every room. The men had prepared fresh fruit cut up, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, and gravy. Juice and coffee were also provided. As the men were not used to making food to this large scale on a regular basis, much food was laid out on the tables.
