Alton, Mo. – The City of Alton is looking for lifeguards. The pool is set to open this year. It is expected that diligent individuals will take on the responsibility of maintaining the pool area while watching out for other people. If you are interested, read on.
Who Can Apply?
Alton City Hall is looking for, primarily, youth looking for a seasonal job. Those sixteen and older may apply. City Hall will take applications from 15-year olds. However, all individuals, no matter the age, will need to find their own transportation to and from the pool. You need not have any prior experience to apply.
When Are They Taking Applications?
Now! City Hall is taking application from now only until March 14. At that time, adults decide who will get the job offers. Stop by Alton City Hall for an application right away. This allows ample time for complete training for all lifeguards.
When Does The Pool Open?
The Alton Pool is scheduled to open Memorial Weekend, which is the last weekend of May.
Any Qualifications Needed?
If accepted for a lifeguard, the person will receive lifeguard training which includes CPR and other training classes.
This is a great opportunity for a seasonal job for college students or high school students wanting extra money. It is seasonal, only lasting through the summer.
