The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has the menu and activities for October of 2022. Each month brings different activities and delicious foods.
Activities
To start off the month on October 4th, there will be a Bargello Runner with Cindi. On the 7th at 10:30 am, you can have frappes with Whitney. On the 11th at 11:30 am, there will be a prize drawing. On October 13th, a fun game of bingo with Beverly will happen at noon. The next day, the 14th, a first-come-first-serve toenail clinic will start at 10:00 am. On the 31st, there will be a costume party.
Food
On October 5th, baked fish, brown beans, coleslaw, cornbread, and a four-layer pumpkin dessert will be served. On the 11th, smothered pork chop, California blend, ranch potatoes, hot roll, and a brownie will be dished out. Following up on the 14th, a delicious meal of fried chicken, baked potato, California blend, hot roll, and cook’s choice will be served. On October 20th, vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese, sandwich, and cinnamon roll will be served. On October 28th, sloppy joes, salad, potato chips, and pumpkin cookies will be served.
