The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center is providing for its seniors by getting the November of 2022 meals and activities all set. The senior center always has a variety of meals and events happening.
Meals
The senior center starts off the month with cheeseburger, along with all the fixings, coleslaw, pickled beets, and pumpkin bread pudding with raisins on November 1st. On November 4th, pulled pork, baked potato, Tuscan blend, hot roll, and cake will be dished out. On the 10th, open faced beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, lettuce salad, hot roll, and cookie will be served. To celebrate Thanksgiving, the senior center will be having a Thanksgiving dinner on the 18th with turkey/ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and desserts being served. On November 30th, enchilada casserole, Spanish rice, lettuce, tomato, and churro bar will be served.
Activities
The Alton Senior Center always has a variety of activities for seniors to do. On the 1st, a prize drawing will be held at 11:30 am. On November 4th, frappes with Whitney will be at 10:30 am. On the 9th, a talk on fire safety with Chad will begin at 10:00 am. On the 11th getting ready for Christmas, a RSVP craft party will be held. On the 17th, birthdays of the month will be recognized. The next day after that, the 18th, with be a holiday party from 11:00 am until noon. On the 23rd, you can make some crafts with Cindi. On November 28th, you paint pottery, available with RSVP.
